About us

R&D is the fundamental policy of Prideco Holdings to ensure future technological triumphs based on novel properties and technical solutions to problems which are challenging to solve with conventional skills.

When we make products and use energy, we fully consider global environmental influence. In this frame, we not only obtain the expertise to prepare new materials and the knowledge to understand reaction mechanisms, but also have a wide scope of green, sustainable chemistry aligned with environmental conservation.

The growing complexity of many scientific problems requires interdisciplinary collaboration with industry. The expertise of analytical chemists in developing and selecting appropriate technology, devising and troubleshooting analytical methods and interpreting results, is vital.

Our focus being on our customers, we put our scientific and problem-solving capabilities to work to enable their success. It is clear that even the best environmentally friendly technology or discovery will not impact on the market if it is not also economically advantageous. In the same way, a market that ignores environmental needs and human involvement will not prosper. The challenge for the future of the chemical industry lies in its development being strongly linked to the extent to which environmental and human needs can be reconciled with new ideas in fundamental research. It should be easy to foresee that the success of environmentally friendly reactions, products and processes will improve competitiveness within the chemical trade. If companies are able to meet the needs of society, people will influence their own governments to foster those industries attempting the environmental initiatives informed by the philosophy of Prideco Holdings.

Prideco Holdings Japan Corp.

Prideco Holdings Japan was founded in Tokyo in April 2016 with two major missions. First, to deliver top-class, Japanese quality production and manufacturing for the technologies and products developed by Prideco Holdings. Second, to provide leadership in marketing and sales expansion of those products in the Indian Subcontinent, Middle East, Chinese and South East Asian markets.

Prideco Holdings Japan does this through its top class connections with Japanese manufacturers and regional marketing experience provided in general through the Institute of Marketing Architecture Co., Ltd. (IMA), a leading retail and distribution company. Specifically, Prideco Holdings Japan levers the expertise of IMA Representative Director, the Honorable Seiichi Mizuno, former Senator in Japan’s House of Counsellors and former president of the Seibu Department Stores Ltd. national retail department store chain, who has held executive positions at a number of global and domestic top-class companies including Netscape, Virgin Cinemas Japan, and Japan’s premier real estate company Mori Building Co.

Mission Statement

We rely solely on a system of self-regulation based on shared ethical principles and generally accepted research practices to ensure integrity in the research process.

Our scientists are guided by basic principles such as respect for the integrity of knowledge, collegiality, honesty, objectivity and openness. These principles are at work in the fundamental elements of the scientific method: formulating a hypothesis, designing an experiment to test the hypothesis, and collecting and interpreting data.

These missions are organised into different research areas such as:

  • OIL AND PERTOLEUM PRODUCTS
  • MARITIME
  • CLEANING AND SANITISING
  • WATER DISINFECTANTS
  • COSMETICS
  • HEALTHCARE
